June 1979. Building Survey.
Examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Three-storey block dating from two periods of the 18th century. Front block can be dated to c. 1700 from the end stops visible on the first and second floors. Original roof-line concealed by later parapet. The back block dates to c. 1790 and contains a fine ceiling in the Adam style. The main stair appears to be an insert of this period, replacing an original central front door. The late 18th-century entrance hall has three fine doors with eared architraves. Ground floor interior gutted. There is a contemporary cellar under the rear block.
