Full Description
November 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The trackway described below, was previously recorded as part of NHER 54503.
Several boundaries and a trackway, all of probable post-medieval to modern date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1)-(S2) and imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S3). Some of the features are partially depicted on historical maps, such as the Ordnance Survey First Edition 6 inch map (S4) and the Tithe map (S5). Most of the features still survive as earthworks, at least partially. It is clear from the 1940s aerial photographs that the trackway was still at least partly in use at that time.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 23 November 2017.
