Summary

This three-storey, red brick former house dates to the 18th century and is now two shops. It has a rendered plinth, pantile roof and a passage entrance to Norris Court Gardens. No 39 has a simple doorcase with ribbed pilasters. The doorcase of No 37 has been incorporated into a 19th-century shopfront. Both properties have sash windows under flat, rubbed-brick arches throughout. Listed Grade II.

"House, now two shops. 18th century. Red brick with rendered plinth, pantile roof and gable-end chimney to right. Sides of passage have light timber spacers between brick panels. Three storeys."
