Full Description
December 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Part of a possible rectilinear enclosure, perhaps of post-medieval date, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1). The feature is not wholly convincing as an archaeological feature. As visible on the lidar, it is rather faint and partially coincides with the edge of a forestry block. However, it is similar in size and shape to other, probably post-medieval, enclosures mapped in the surrounding area; these are thought to be associated with warrening, perhaps used to manage the rabbits, or to grow forage crops.
