Summary

A small, undated, circular enclosure is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey. Like other, similar enclosures mapped in the area, it is likely to be of post-medieval date and associated with warrening. Alternatively, it could be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow.

Map

A small, undated, circular enclosure is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey (S1). Like other, similar enclosures mapped in the area, it is likely to be of post-medieval date and associated with warrening. However, the feature almost has the appearance of a circular platform, rather than a well-defined enclosure bank, and it could instead be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow.
