Map

January 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A small rectilinear enclosure is partially visible as an earthwork on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey (S1). Like other, similar enclosures mapped in the area, it is likely to be of post-medieval date and associated with warrening. The southeastern side of the enclosure is open; it may have been truncated by the adjacent forest ride. The remainder of the enclosure (that is, the parts that have been mapped) are likely to still survive as earthworks, given the recent date of the lidar survey. Traces of an internal partition are visible and a possible outer bank on its northeastern side. A second possible enclosure, NHER 62008, has been recorded 80m to the west.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 31 January 2018.
