Full Description
November 2006. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed line of Norwich Northern Distributor Road (Field 76). Finds recovered included:
44 prehistoric worked flints.
6 ?prehistoric burnt flints.
1 Roman pottery sherd.
1 medieval coin and 1 pottery sherd.
2 post-medieval coins, 2 buckles and 1 cast copper alloy vessel fragment.
2 ?post-medieval tokens.
Various undated metal objects including 1 ?silver ?coin, 1 lead ?weight and 1 lead ?guano tag.
