Summary

Fieldwalking in the 1960s and 1970s recovered a small number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds, prehistoric flint flakes and scrapers, as well as eight Late Bronze Age pottery sherds, one Roman pottery sherd and a penny minted under William III. A concentration of prehistoric pot boilers was also recorded. Metal detecting in 2002 recovered a small number of medieval and post medieval metal objects.
