Full Description
OS field 180.
1960s - 1970s. Fieldwalking.
Context 1: Flint scrapers and blades. Medieval and post medieval pottery sherds. Roman sherd.
Context 2: Medieval pottery sherds. A possible posthole 5-6ft (1.5 to 1.8m) deep was excavated but no finds were recovered.
Context 3: Flint scrapers.
Context 4: Flint scrapers.
Context 5: Scrapers and flint blade.
Context 6: 1914 to 1918 earthwork seen as cropmark by A. Lawson.
