This building and its undercroft are amongst those listed in thesis (S6), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. The buiding is described as one surviving bay of a long, 15th-century building set back from and parallel to the street. At ground floor the bay width is taken up by a carriage entry that has timber spandrels beneath the bressumer. The undercroft is described as a pointed barrel-vault, parallel to and away from the street line, and probably contemporary with the building above.
