Full Description
May-June 2012. Walkover Survey.
Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey within Church Wood (Compartment 2a).
Minor undulations were identified in an area measuring roughly 60m by 30m at TF8802 4377 (Site 3). These possible earthworks included two small (c.4m diameter) depressions with adjacent spoil heaps and what appeared to be two irregular platforms (which did not convince as possible building locations).
See report (S1) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 19 September 2018.
