Summary

A Rapid Identification Survey undertaken in 2012 identified the a linear earthwork ridge at this location. This undated feature is possibly a remnant of a former track or headland bank.

Archaeological Earthwork Rapid Identification Survey of Staithe Wood (Compartment 3a).
A linear ridge was identified running between TF 8907 4348 and TF 8909 4340 (Site 8). This feature is 12m wide and 0.25m high and is possibly a remnant of a former track or headland bank.
