Summary

Part of a possible small circular or curvilinear enclosure, of unknown but perhaps post-medieval date, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015. It appears to surround a small mound with a central pit. Like other, similar enclosures mapped elsewhere in the wider landscape (see NHER 61554 or NHER 62003, for example) it may relate to warrening.

Part of a possible small circular or curvilinear enclosure, of unknown but perhaps post-medieval date, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1). It appears to surround a small mound with a central pit. Like other, similar enclosures mapped elsewhere in the wider landscape (see NHER 61554 or NHER 62003, for example) it may relate to warrening. It could instead relate to a former Bronze Age round barrow (or related monument) and be part of the probable large dispersed barrow cemetery NHER 62464, but this seems less likely. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthwork still survives.
