Summary

A small, square platform, perhaps of post-medieval date and related to warrening, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015. It appears to be fairly low, and surrounded by narrow ditch. It lies less than 10m to the south of a small rectilinear enclosure (NHER 62460), similar to many others recorded across Thetford Warren (NHER 54069). These are likely to relate to the use of the warren and be post-medieval in date, and it is probable that the platform is an associated feature. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthwork still survives.
