Late 1998. Stray Find.
Found by landowner during ploughing up of ancient small pasture field, known then and now as 'Chicken Meadow':
1 Neolithic massive polished flint axehead. A particularly fine example, stained brown and with only very minor damage. See drawing (S1).
Identified by P. Robins (NCM), see description in file [1]. Additional information regarding provenance received from [2] following conversions with finder.
