Summary

This flint and brick former dovecote dates to the 16th century and was subject to major repairs in 1880 and again in the late 20th century. It is contemporary with the Tudor lodgings to the north-west (NHER 5268) and the barn to the north-east (NHER 63143).

Listing Description excerpt:
"Former dovecote. 16th century. Major repair 1880 according to inscribed plaque to rear. Second important repair late 20th century. Knapped and galletted flint with keyed brick dressings. Some clunch; pantile roof. Square in plan. One full height opening off-centre to north."
