Full Description
November 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The site of possible Medieval to post-medieval ridge and furrow is seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S1). The ridge and furrow is aligned approximately east-west with a possible former field boundary running in between the ridge and furrow. The bank has since been levelled and is most likely Post-medieval in date. The possible ridge and furrow may relate to a second area of possible ridge and furrow (NHER 62496) and possible medieval settlement activity (NHER 62497) to the south.
