Map

This building is of unknown date, but it first appears in photographs around 1800, so must date from the 18th century. The main part of the building has a hipped Mansard roof coming to a central point, and a single storey which was either rebuilt or extensively altered in the 20th century runs to the south.
The building was a public house from at least 1864 when a new licence was granted to John William Bough (S1). It closed as a public house in 1996, and in 2000 planning permission was granted to convert it to a house in multiple occupation.
