Summary

Earthwork banks, most likely post medieval in date, can be seen on visualised lidar data. The banks located at TL 8034 9322 and TL 8045 9319 most likely relate to former boundaries seen on the Tithe map, Frist and Second edition Ordnance Survey maps. The banks at TL 8031 9308 also relate to boundaries seen on the historic maps as well as possibly defining the entrance to the area of former extraction to the immediate east. The banks are similar to further boundary banks recorded to the west (NHER 63252).
