Summary

A fragmented, undated linear bank is visible as an earthwork on visualised lidar data. It possibly marks the boundary of Methwold Warren (NHER 55577), and could therefore be of medieval to post medieval date. It could also or instead mark the site of a former road, depicted on a 19th century Ordnance Survey map (NHER 5003). More mundanely, it could instead be a post medieval plantation or field boundary, similar to others identified in this area. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2015) it is probable that the earthwork still survives.
