Banks and ditches relating to Colveston medieval settlement remains can be seen as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs and recent (2017) lidar visualisations (S1-S7). The majority of the mapped features most likely relate to land division, field systems, property boundaries and drainage. There is a large enclosure with two possible entrances located at TL 7912 9563 and two smaller possible enclosures located at TL 7906 9563 and TL 7906 9569. At TL 7921 2955 there is a group of irregular ditches which may have related to a natural water course and drainage ditches. At TL 7889 9586 a wide ditch can be seen which may have related to a former Hollow way or trackway. The majority of the earthworks were levelled by the 1970s with some of the ditches (for example at TL 7930 9532) reused as modern drainage and can be seen on the recent (2017) lidar visualisations. These features are part of the dense medieval landscape mapped as part of this survey and these features are also similar to further Medieval settlement remains at Cranwich to the south west (NHER 63072). The foundation remains of Colveston church can be seen to the north of the site (centred at TL 7920 9573).
