Summary

Archaeological work undertaken at this site between 2008 and 2010 uncovered little in the way of significant remains. A geophysical survey in 2008 identified a possible ditch but trial trenching the same year revealed no archaeologically-significant remains and a watching brief maintained during subsequent groundworks in 2009/2010 had similarly negative results. A single medieval coin was recovered during the final phase of work.
