Summary

A 15th century brass seal thought to belong to Walter Fitzwalter was found here in 1846 by workmen lowering the road beside the newly built Church of St John the Evangelist (NHER 5552).

This seal is thought to have belonged to Walter, second son of Walter Fitz-Walter, the brother and successor to Humphrey Fitzwalter.
