Map

(S1) describes this cottage adjoining the Highgate Methodist Chapel (NHER 62872) as pebble-dashed and painted white. Round arched doorway with fan light. Concrete tile roof. Brick chimney stack on east gable above junction with chapel. This cottage and the adjoining Primitive Methodist Chapel are all that remains of the mid-19th century area known as Highgate (S2). It is likely that this cottage is contemporary with the current chapel (rebuilt in 1883) or perhaps its predecessor of 1850.
