Map

(S1) describes this large red brick building as an impressive maltings building of unknown date. The maltings are not marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1886 (S2), but the building is present on the second edition Ordnance Survey map surveyed in 1904 (S3), which also appears to indicate that they were served by the railway as a small section of track runs along the south-west face of the building. According to (S1) these buildings were converted to flats in the 1980s.
