Summary

The White House is a late 18th- or early 19th-century brick house, with blank arches enclosing windows. The east front was destroyed by a modern brick extension, and at the rear there appears to be a remnant of a 17th-century house.

Listing Description:
"House. Mid 18th century with early 19th century enlargement. Rear portion 18th century of brick and flint, extension gault brick with roof of black glazed pantiles. Main facade of two storeys in four bays, partly obscured by one storey two bay hipped extension at right. Tall sashes to ground floor and square sashes first floor, all with glazing bars and under gauged skewback arches. Hipped roof with central ridge stack."

Late 18th or early 19th century brick house with blank arches enclosing windows. East front destroyed by modern brick extension. At rear the house cuts in half a crude attempt at a shaped gable in flint and brick there are blocked windows in this wing, which appears to be a remnant of a 17th century house.
