Full Description
July 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An area of small pits and/or uneven ground, of unknown date and origin, is visible as earthworks on imagery from a lidar survey (S1). It could perhaps relate to small-scale extraction, but there is no other evidence to support this. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2015), it is probable that the earthworks still survive.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 11th July 2019.
