Full Description
Moat. Partly filled.
P. Wade-Martins (NAU), (S1).
Complete in 1815 with south entrance and annexe.
E. Rose (NAU).
3 February 1992. NLA aerial photography.
Earthworks of moat visible on (S2).
D. Edwards (NLA).
Only one arm now remains to west, this severely mutilated with evidence of recent dredging and alteration of bank. Owner says he filled in east arm several years ago, remainder flattened over 40 years ago. West arm has been dredged and filled according to owner.

Farmer engaged in infilling remaining open section of moat. Breckland Council informed, but it is doubtful whether anything can be done.

August 2007. Norfolk NMP
Earthworks of a medieval moat are recorded at this location. However, the moat was obscured by trees on all available aerial photographs and was not mapped as part of the Norfolk National Mapping Programme.
