Full Description
January 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible mound, perhaps the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as an earthwork on visualised lidar imagery from a survey flown in 2015 (S1). The possible mound is quite large (nearly 50m in diameter) and very low; it may have been spread. It lies approximately 270m northeast of a probable barrow cemetery (NHER 61986), which itself forms part of a much larger concentration of known or possible barrows (NHER 61484). As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is probable that the earthwork still survives.
