Late 1960s. Casual Observation.
Two concrete World War Two spigot mortar bases were discovered whilst removing a hedge dividing the lower-lying meadow to the north from the southern arable field (S1). These spigot mortar bases were definitely removed by 1988 (S2). It is likely they were removed at the same time as the hedge.
