Summary

This is the site of the Three Cranes public house which was demolished in 1816 in response to a request from the Paving Commissioners.

(S1) states that the Three Cranes public house was demolished in 1816. It records this building as being at the south-west corner of Nelson Street, but this appears to be an error since it describes the land cleared following demolition of the public house as being immediately to the south of Ladybridge House (NHER 36108).
