Full Description
(S1) reports that this ropewalk ran along what is now the Broad Walk from London Road towards Guanock Gate. It was first mentioned by inference in 1586 and again in 1642. A drawing of St James' Chapel dating from around 1670 shows the position of this ropewalk.
