Summary

An area of cleared and/or disturbed ground, almost certainly related to Second World War military activity, was identified on aerial photographs. It is part of the large group of Second World War defences and training features on Kelling Heath; a number of Second World War military structures (NHER 38388 and NHER 38389) are sited within it. Recent aerial photographs show that the area is now largely tree covered.
