Summary

A Mesolithic flint axe was found here in 1974. Various other finds from the area of Oakwood Farm that were previously recovered under this number are now detailed in NHER 59556, NHER 59557 and NHER 59558

Found on surface of field at Low Street:
1 Mesolithic flint axe. See drawing (S1). Information from (S2). Formerly wrongly marked here as Neolithic and seperately at TG 0546 1113 (as NHER 13914) by NCM.

Various other finds from this area previously listed in this record are now recorded seperately. An Early Neolithic laurel leaf found in or near Oakwood Farm is recorded under NHER 59556. Finds found in the fields to the north of the farm are recorded under NHER 59557. Finds recovered during a Watching Brief at Oakwood Farm are recorded under NHER 59558
