Full Description
Icehouse.
Entrance in side of old pit leads to dog leg tunnel of 19th century brick, to spherical chamber.
Totally buried.
Formerly belonged to vicarage (now Berry Hall), a house of about 1850; remarkably long way from house.
Visited E. Rose (NAU) 1 February 1978.
The first radio broadcast from an icehouse was made by E. Rose (NAU) in 1984 here for BBC Radio Norfolk.
