Summary

An early 19th-century octagonal brick summerhouse in what was orginally a formal garden associated with nearby Reydon House (NHER 40101). It is built in a Picturesque style and has a conical thatch roof.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Summerhouse. c. 1830. Built of brick with conical thatch roof. Octagonal plan. Picturesque style. One storey. Pointed brick arches over four-panelled door and Gothick-style casement windows.
Interior: decorative plaster roof with foliate and quilloche motifs."
