1969. Flint and brick foundations reported by phone - also a 23cm ( 9 inch) square possible duct. Bricks 5cm (2 inches by 11.5cm (4 1/2 inches) by 23cm (9 inches).

OS card, noting above, states that a 'ladder' cropmark runs east to west on OS aerial photograph 71-088-134. It also says the finds were claimed as part of Alvingham deserted medieval village, traditionally located in this area, but this has now been located at 7463.

Informant in 1987 suggests this site is wrongly located and should be at 23970 - q.v.
