Map

Site of ancillary buildings at rear of No 7 High Street (NHER 47839).
Previously recorded under NHER 47839.

June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Probably late 18th-century, bake house or forge, red brick with pantile roof, original chimney at north end, linked to former stable building with half-moon window, red brick and pantiles.
Nos 5 and 7 [NHER 47839], [these] ancillary buildings, Nos 19 and 23 [NHERs 47771 and 47407] and Angus House [NHER 47667] form a group"
P. Watkins (HES), 15 February 2021.

The listing designation for these buildings has been revoked and it appears that they were probably demolished not long after they were first recorded (a 1973 Ordnance Survey map seems to show a different building to those depicted on earlier maps [1]).
