Full Description
?Bowl barrow.
Marked on 1st edition Ordnance Survey (S1) (1838).
About 1880 to 90, windmill stood on this mound (the pre-existing).
Made of sand and gravel, as seen from depression in centre.

Unknown date.
Included in the Shedule of Ancient Monuments as county number 50.
Short Description of Monument and its condition:
"Round barrow, grass covered, in arable field, about 5/12 mile, N.E. of the church.
About 40 years ago a mill stood on this mound. IT is too high to plough and is in no damage of destruction."

Ring of ferns suggest outer ditch 3 to 4m wide?

As before; good condition. Small grass covered mound in fork of road at Keymers Corner 1m high is confusing but probably not a barrow.
