Full Description
December 2008-January 2009. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of excavation of directional drilling pit for Anglian Water pipeline (Test Pit 4).
This pit exposed a dark grey silty peat deposit beneath the topsoil that may represent the fill of a ditch. Recording has however severely hampered by a high water table.
See report (S1) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 27 April 2021.
