Full Description
January 2020-August 2022. Metal-detecting. [1].
Found within ploughsoil or upper portion of subsoil, spread over an area measuring c.160m west to east and c. 100m north to south:
Roman coin hoard of 432 coins, all but two of which are siliquae. The latest coins were issued in the period AD 395-402 and most of the coins have been clipped to a light or moderate degree - suggesting deposition or loss in the early 5th century.

This coin hoard was returned to finder after being disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2020 T83).
