September 2024. Metal-detecting. [1].
Found within a metre of each other:
3 post-medieval silver coins of Mary and Elizabeth I - almost certainly a dispersed purse loss. These coins had been minted between 1553 and 1575 and were probably entered the ground not long after - c.1580-1600.

These coins were submitted for consideration as Treasure (Ref: 2020 T856).
