Summary

A watching brief maintained during groundworks at this site in 2018 recorded no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. It should however be noted that the monitored groundworks were all relatively shallow and did not penetrate beneath the topsoil layer. Consequently these negative results say little about the archaeological potential of the site, although it is perhaps notable that no unstratified finds were recovered.
