Summary

The cropmarks of a possible Neolithic long barrow can be seen on aerial photographs. The feature consists of an elongated oval ditch which may relate to a possible Neolithic long barrow. A possible Bronze Age ring ditch (NHER 64276) can be seen in close proximity to the south west.

The cropmarks of a previously recorded (see NHER 36421) possible Neolithic long barrow can be seen on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The feature consists of an elongated oval ditch which may relate to a possible Neolithic long barrow. The possible long barrow is cut by a post medieval boundary recorded on the First Edition Ordnance Survey Map (S3). A possible Bronze Age ring ditch can be seen in close proximity to the south west. A possible Neolithic-Bronze Age trackway (NHER 64275) on a similar alignment to the possible long barrow is also visible to the west.
