Full Description
See [1].
Before 1992. Stray find. [2].
Found "500 yards [450m] from sea (Roman settlement)" [3]:
Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age part-polished flint axehead. The sub-trapezoidal form and thin, lenticular cross section of this implement suggests it is likely to represent a flint copy of one of the early copper/copper alloy flat axes. It probably had a ceremonial rather than practical function.
A. Beckham (HES), 9 February 2022 and P. Watkins (HES), 14 October 2023.
