Summary

This three-storey house is of late 18th- or early 19th-century date. It has stuccoed brick walls, a low pitched slate roof and a central doorway in a moulded case. A 17th-century timber-framed wing at the rear was possible once a separate house. It apparently contains a 'Tudor' fireplace. It is also recorded that a small panel of medieval stained glass can be found in either this building or the adjacent house to the east (7 Market Place; NHER 12497).
