Full Description
December 2021. Broads Hidden Heritage: Aerial Perspectives.
Fragmentary linear ditches, mostly of unknown date and function, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1). One of the ditches corresponds with a boundary depicted on Acle Tithe Map (S2). It forms the eastern boundary of Great Wood (shown on the map) and is presumably a post medieval field boundary or wood bank.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk County Council, Historic Environment Service), 7 December 2021.
