Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2021 recovered two Late Iron Age coins that were both of the same relatively rare type and had therefore probably originally been lost or deposited together.

2 Late Iron Age coins. Although found 375m apart at [2] (in the direction of current ploughing) these Icenian silver units are both of a fairly rare type and were therefore likely lost or deposited together.

This probable coin hoard was returned to the finders after being disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2021 T954).
