Summary

The cropmarks of an undated possible bank feature can be seen on aerial photographs. The features origins are unclear, and it is possible that the feature is natural in origin or related to modern agricultural activities. If the feature is archaeological in origin, the feature may have related to activity associated with the former railway line to the south.

The cropmarks of an undated possible bank feature can be seen on aerial photographs (S1). The feature consists of a possible elongated U-shaped bank and is only visible on one set of aerial photographs consulted by the project (S1). The features origins are unclear, and it is possible that the feature is natural in origin or related to modern agricultural activities. If the feature is archaeological in origin, the feature may have related to activity associated with the former railway line approximately 60m to the south. The feature has been mapped by extent and the monument polygon has been amended.
