Map

May 2022. Broads Hidden Heritage: Aerial Perspectives.
Shallow earthworks, probably the remains of post medieval peat cuttings, are visible on visualised lidar data (S1). They are situated on low ground, within the now wooded fringes of marshland surrounding Hasingham Broad (NHER 13526). The areas of lower ground are irregularly shaped, but include some straight edges, suggesting they are man-made. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017-18) it is probable that the earthworks still survive.
